Weight Issues can be a big problem if you are plus sized and you don’t stop there. It can be equally bad for those who are size zero and expand like a whale in a short period of time. I believe i fall in the category of those people who gain weight rapidly by going on a junk food diet. I have always been fit (though i don’t exercise so much) and never had any weight problems. There have been times when i had a lot of cravings for junk food but fortunately i never had enough money to go out and eat. The last time i gained 20 kgs was in 2003 when i was working as a freelance writer and would always have a coke,chips, popcorn and a burger every night followed by candy, ice cream and juice. My willpower and working out at the gym helped me loose all that excess weight. This time i have gained a lot of weight because i have been eating out nearly every week. I am pretty sure i eat out at McDonalds once a week as well as frying burger patties and nuggets at home. My cravings for ice cream made me go out and buy a huge tub of Chocolate Fudge ice cream. If only i had stopped there and not had a craving for fizzy drinks nearly every night (fizzy drinks prevent me from sleeping). I believe that i can put Morgan Spurlock to shame by gaining twice the amount of weight he gained in one month (even though he got fat coz he only ate at McDonalds).
Anyway most of the people in my extended family believe i have become too fat. They are exaggerating cause my frame is the same. It’s just that my tummy has come out a bit and i have a bit more body fat than usual. My brother seems to think i have a double chin.
So in order to cut down on my weight i plan to go on a strict exercise regime. I will have to walk like an hour a day, do 20 pushups and situps every afternoon and stop having fizzy drinks, cheese and ice cream. I guess the only reason I am having so much ice cream is cause i haven’t had the sniffles as yet. So in a way I am making hay while the sun shines. Good luck to me.
